Current Business: President:  Dan Orr called the meeting to order and started with roll call and reports of Board members.  Jerry Mefford read the previous month’s minutes.  Dan stated that the next big thing on our agenda as a Board is getting a landscape company contracted for next year, what they’ll be responsible for and what they will be doing.  At this point it appears that we will be going with Beast N’ Landscape for our mowing needs for the HOA.

Dan reports as well that we’ll have someone come and check the pool and pump system for Summer.  Brandon is having an engineer that specializes in pools take a look before we move further.

As far as Landscape project with flower beds Britt will update us.  Some residents have reported holes left from utility companies.  HOA can do nothing with those so please call the utility company.

Vice President:  Nothing to report.

Treasurer:  Brian reported on the budget.  There was no income for the month of October other than interest from the bank.  Outgoing expenses totaled nearly $20,000 which included ½ payment for the new section of fencing, just over $4,700 for landscaping/mowing, $2,100 for the Pool/Clubhouse area and other miscellaneous HOA costs.

Checking now has just over $68,000 and savings remains at just over $100,000.  Brian asked for questions and there were none.

There is a balance of just over $6,100 owing by households to the HOA at this point.

When we begin collecting dues at the beginning of the year our checking balance will once again be replenished.  This will be needed for additional fence replacement and pool upgrades yet to be determined.

Brian asked what the plan is to get the playground trash can moved into place.  Dan mentioned getting a dolly to move it now to the playground.  There were several volunteers from the Board that stated they would assist when ready.

Secretary:  Nothing to report

Pool:  Brandon reported that nothing is going on with pool.  There will be future expenses for pool canopies that shade the chairs as well as new tarps will need to be looked at in the next three years.

Cabana:  There are 2 pending bookings for the cabana.  Linda reports that there are four new residents in the neighborhood according to information sent in from the management company to whom to send pool keys.  The HOA’s website is now working fine for booking the cabana now.

Landscape:  Brittany is traveling so Dan provided information that she would normally report.  Brian asked about the flagstone perimeter around the new fence section on the Southwest side of the neighborhood at Teagen that may have been damaged.  Dan stated that there are going to have to be some repairs made to the fence East of there so that will be included in next year’s project.

Social:  Blandy reported on the social committee.  There is not much going on this month but the Christmas decoration contest.  The next big event is Easter.

Violations:  Ashley reports there have been no violations.

Residents In Attendance and Questions:  David and Kym Murray, Derek.  There were no resident questions.

The meeting was adjourned by President Dan Orr at 6:52 p.m.

End of Meeting:  6:52 pm.
