Board Meeting – Minutes
December 20, 2011
Present: Chris Sanders, Casey Nester, Trip Ballard, Phyllis McComb, Dale Day, Jeff Redding
Meeting began at 8pm
Jeff Redding
- Updated pool repair/resurfacing cost estimates. First estimate at $12,500 with more estimates expected. Goal to resurface in March before the pool business gets extremely busy and our work would be delayed by other business.
- Redding reported landscaping news thru Billy Lindenhorn, advised trenching under main en-trance ways for future electric cord runs needed to holiday light displays, getting cords off street and away from tire traffic.
Casey Nester
- Introduced guests from Noah’s PlayArk, vendors for future playground building operation.
- Options of playground layouts and equipment were presented with board members in attend-ance selecting the option that was lower to ground and contained more slides for kids.
- A loose rubber base was chosen for the ground install
- Options to add equipment were discussed
- Vendor will continue to work on pricing options, trying to work within HOA means
- The Vendor presented self-install option with their supervision, that would shave money off the costs by them not having to provide the labor.
- Discussion on playground to continue via email leading to next HOA meeting.
